HUGE CONGRATULATIONS is going out to Tahi Sawyer today who has been accepted into NASDA (National Academy of Singing and Dramatic Arts) starting in 2024.

“I first met Tahi in 2021 when I cast him in the role of Sir Lancelot in AGS production of Spamalot. His love of musical theatre was obvious and his strong work ethic and quirky sense of humour made any rehearsal incredibly fun. After that experience he told me this was the world for him and I couldn’t agree more!” says Artistic Director Janine Donnell.

Tahi then went on to begin training in musical theatre with Janine joining the Donnell Studios Performance Troupe and after some years of fun performing and training hard he is now taking his next exciting steps into full time study. We wish Tahi a big BREAK A LEG for what we know will be an inspiring and successful journey!

Anessa Malik, pictured performing in Donnell Studio’s most recent production “Broadway & Beyond” has taken those words very much to heart!
We are thrilled to announce Anessa has been accepted on scholarship into NYCDA’s Musical Theatre Summer Intensive Programme and is going to be jet setting over to Midtown Manhattan in New York City this July to spend the US summer amidst the bustle of Broadway…..and then who knows how far “beyond”!!!
