As the President of the Association I am devastated to make this announcement.

As the current nationwide situation has unfolded Auckland Highland Games Association made the difficult decision at the Annual General Meeting not to hold the Auckland Highland Games previously scheduled for Saturday 20 November 2021.

While there are so many uncertainties at present, what is clear is the latest COVID-19 community infections and Alert Level restrictions will have a lasting impact on every community for some time and to commit to holding an event such as the Auckland Highland Games is untenable in these circumstances.

We thank everyone for their support in organising the event to date, and we look forward to holding our annual Highland Games again in 2022 on the 19 November.
