Congratulations to our 24/25 arts funding recipients. All the expressions of interest were fantastic ideas. These artists came through with deeply thought, well developed kaupapa we are proud to support and can't wait to see come to fruition.

Extra congratulations to Tracey Tawhiao and Tawhiao art salon on a beautiful exhibition, poetry evening, artists kōrero's and supporting ten fantastic artists in their mahi.

NEW ARTS FUNDING ROUND NOW OPEN!!!!!!!!!!!

Toi Waitematā Community Arts fund and the Waitematā Local Board encourages open access arts funding to support local creative ideas that may take place in streets, parks, town centres, kura, marae or other public places within our local board area.

Our current funding round is now open for expressions of interest for arts projects taking place between 22 January and 22 July 2025.

What to expect:

Request for Expressions of Interest
- Fill out your form, be as clear and specific as possible.

Response
- If you receive a positive response by email, we will be in touch with you in order to learn more about your idea and how you plan to meet the desired outcomes.

Notification
We look forward to confirming with those who will receive funding in this round. Naturally not everyone will be successful this time however we are here to offer advice for future applications or alternative funding options for those who would like to take up those opportunities.
