The ACO Concert 3 featuring the world premiere performance of Andrew Perkins' Concerto Grosso for flute, harpsichord and strings performed by Adrianna Lis, Rosemary Barnes, with the Auckland Chamber Orchestra conducted by Peter Scholes was an amazingly happy event attended by an extremely enthusiastic and excited audience. Amidst the audience were Consuls from Sweden, Poland, Slovakia, Panama, Hungary, Peru and Austria, and it was gratifying to see compositions of Europe and New Zealand profiled so professionally. A detailed review of the concert will be published shortly.
