Welcome to Karanga Ink! We are an Indigenous Tattoo Studio specialising in unique personally designed Moko, Pacific, Indigenous tattoos. If you are looking for something original that reflects your journey and/or incorporates your whakapapa (genealogy), your passions, your travels, your story ... and you hear the karanga for ink ... then karanga mai!!! artist Pip Hartley who has 20 years experience in the industry. She often hosts some of her talented artist friends who bring their mad skills specialising in their specific genres, along with the highest degree of hygiene practice and professionalism. We believe it is important that our clients feel as comfortable as possible and ensure that we translate their story to the best of our ability with the finest of quality. We offer traditional and contemporary designs applied with tattoo machine as well as traditional non-machine tools and methods. We have relocated from Auckland City to Te Henga (Bethells Beach) to a private studio so bookings are essential, no walk-ins. Bookings and enquiries can be made by emailing [email protected]

Good riddance to those pesking nonsense hand brake mandates!! 🙄

Been gathering every speck of patience to ride this out.. whilst in hibernation indulging in a new world, a new pace, a new sense of being and a new studio that is sooo so close to completion!! Interior design anticipation is Real!!!
The cuzzy bros are doing  such an amazing job, in their spare time.. Soo Grateful to all involved and to see it unfold🙏🏾

Can't wait to share many a journeys with all who come bless up this space!!🌠

All n all very happy to say that Karanga Ink has been officially booking the backlog of our amazing ever so patient clients! For all those that had bookings on hold from August to December 2021 Please check your inboxes!!
