As we wrap up the show, it feels apt to share with you a fundraiser that we have joined.

We are donating a portion of our ticket sales to and their fundraiser to give psycho-social support to Palestinian children and youth.

Alas, our March season for It’s Soaking Out Here has been canceled for a 2nd time… shout outs omicron 😑
Sending love to all artists and creatives out there! The light is at the end of the tunnel/we are the light and/or the tunnel 🌪💡

The Spinoff writer & friend Sam Brooks wrote about the realities of artists and theatres during the delta outbreak, and easypeel's own Adeline Esther features in an interview discussing our show It's Soaking Out Here, which has since been postponed.

"The show, which was intended to be a response to the anxieties felt through the first phase of the pandemic, has also been altered by the delta outbreak and lockdown. “This show was very much of that time. Now it’s been postponed, the show has to be something different. It can’t be what it was. Even now, we’re feeling something else.”

It's Soaking Out Here has been postponed to March 2022 at Basement Theatre.

We have some updates for you regarding our show IT'S SOAKING OUT HERE.

Due to the covid restrictions/rahui still in place within Tāmaki Makaurau, the creative team for IT’S SOAKING OUT HERE have made the decision to postpone our show to Summer 2022, at Basement Theatre

We’re using this time to recuperate, and will come back to the show with fresh eyes - when it’s safe to do so.

For now, here’s a Q&A video that we filmed *on the day* lockdown was announced. We squeezed it in ~ just for you 🍊

We also want to say NGĀ MIHI NUI to all who donated to our Boosted campaign. Seriously. Thank you. You’ve given us little heart palpitations (the good kind) while we’ve been stuck inside 💢

Hey you! Only 30-odd hours left to get us over that final hurdle!

We are really missing being together in rehearsal, and are holding out for lockdown to be over, so we can get back into devising again. Help us reach our final Boosted target for IT'S SOAKING OUT HERE, and *one day in the not-so-distant-future* we'll be hitting the stage; rain or shine!
