It was a busy weekend at DEPOT with TWO exhibitions at DEPOT Artspace!

So fantastic to see such a great turnout for RTH: Nature and Place and Platform 26: making matters, with plenty of familiar faces and new visitors coming through our doors.

Nature and Place attracted an enthusiastic crowd of photographers and nature lovers, all keen to see the selected images celebrating the manu and landscapes of Tāmaki Makaurau.

Meanwhile, Platform 26: making matters brought together artists, makers and visitors to explore an inspiring collection of three-dimensional works celebrating materials, creativity and experimentation.

A huge thank you to the artists, photographers, Restoring Takarunga Hauraki and everyone who joined us to celebrate. It's always special to see our creative community come together!

Don't worry if you missed the openings! Both exhibitions are now open, so come along and explore them for yourself.

It’s all coming together! 📸🌿

Installation has been underway this morning for Nature and Place | Birds of Tāmaki Makaurau, presented with Restoring Takarunga Hauraki.

The selected photographs are going up on the walls at DEPOT Lounge, celebrating the beauty, character and diversity of the manu that share our city.

Come and see the finished exhibition this Saturday 10 October, with the opening from 10am–12pm at DEPOT Lounge, 28 Clarence Street, Devonport.

Wayfind Creative is back on Waiheke. This six-week programme will help you build practical business skills, learn from experienced mentors and connect with other island creatives, so you finish with a clear plan for what comes next.

What's involved:

Three workshops, in person and on Zoom
Self-paced online modules to suit your practice
A one-to-one session with a creative entrepreneur
Your own Professional Development Plan
