The new Drama for Confidence & Fun has been a huge success. Watching how fast the students progress has been inspiring! I realised quite a while ago that people came to my classes more out of a desire to become more sure of themselves, let loose and enjoy some healthy escapism...
There are those who also want to enter the acting world and what I love is that the classes cater for all of these desires.
As I often say, I love what I do. Seeing people get switched on and more confident is a joy for me and my purpose in running CED.

The Improv class has been insane this term. People feel so safe and included in the class environment that they dare to risk and step out of their comfort zones and to be more of what they can be!

Next Classes start:

Drama for Confidence & Fun: Tuesday 5 to 26 Nov. - 4-weeks $99
Improv Perform: Monday 4 Nov, to 2 Dec. - 5-weeks $125
I keep the fees low because I know that times are harder right now but people still want to connect with like-minded people and have fun!

What a class Woohoo!! Ran the first class of the new term of the Improv Class. It was fantastic. Both the new people and the previous students brought such amazingly creative ideas to the scenes. There was a lot of laughter - it's going to be a fun term for sure.

The Improv and Acting for Fun and Confidence classes start next week. Really excited about what this new term will bring as the last one was outstanding.

Yesterday I had the absolute privilege of watching one of my students Allysha perform in 'We Will Rock You". To say I was proud of her performance is an understatement.
She will go far in the industry because she has beauty - inside and out, natural talent, total sass and is prepared to work as hard as she can on whatever presents itself. It was a truly awesome experience.
It reminds me why I love my job so much!

Just finished another awesome term of the Improv General Class and I had such a great time with the students. The new people who were strangers on week one are now friends with others in the class.
That's the magic of Improv - you find yourself creating crazily funny situations that break down the usual barriers. Can't wait to start again.
If you want to build confidence, have fun and escape from the pressures of life, these classes are for you. They are suitable for all levels of experience from absolute beginners and beyond!
The next block starts on Monday 26 August and costs just $125.00 for five weeks. Classes run at the Grey Lynn Community Centre from 6.30pm to 8pm.
