🌏 World Environment Day 2026 🌿

Climate action doesn't always have to look huge. Sometimes it looks like planting herbs on your windowsill, learning to mend your clothes, showing up to a community clean-up, catching the train or riding your bike, sharing kai, or spending a little more time connected to nature 🌳

This World Environment Day, EcoFest is celebrating the power of collective small actions, the everyday choices that help shape a healthier, more resilient future for Tāmaki Makaurau

"Now for Climate" is a reminder that the best time to care for our planet isn't someday, its now 💚

Through workshops, walks, working bees, film screenings, repair cafes, kai events, and hands-on experiences, EcoFest is all about making climate action feel accessible, hopeful, creative, and community led.

Every action counts. Every person matters. What's one small thing you're doing now for climate?
