Money Mayhem is a student-led business from Ormiston Senior College that creates an interactive way for rangatahi to learn the basic financial skills they need for the real world. Designed for ages 9-15, Money Mayhem turns financial literacy into an experience where players can learn by doing, make mistakes, understand consequences and grow from them. Money Mayhem is a financial literacy board game that brings concepts such as income, expenses, saving, spending, loans and credit to life through realistic financial situations. Players make decisions, manage their money and navigate unexpected events, with every choice shaping their financial journey. With different outcomes every time, Money Mayhem encourages players to learn from previous decisions, try new strategies and build their confidence through replayable gameplay.

At Money Mayhem, the goal is to make financial literacy practical, engaging and accessible. Instead of learning about money through worksheets and class lessons alone, rangatahi can experience financial decision-making in a safe environment where mistakes become opportunities to learn without the consequences of real-world financial loss.

Sustainability is also an important part of Money Mayhem. Recycled and reused materials are incorporated wherever possible, including recycled plywood and repurposed 3D-printing filament. By reusing existing resources and reducing production waste, Money Mayhem aims to give materials a new purpose while creating a product that can be played again and again.

Money Mayhem is more than a board game. It’s a place to learn, take risks, make mistakes and grow through one decision at a time.

Grip Code Customs is a student run business from De La Salle College.

Grip Code Customs is a high-performance sports grip sock brand. We are a combination of function and culture. The thing that separates our socks from other performance grip sock brands is that our product is designed with a strong Polynesian influence. We have 3 Polynesian pattern options: Samoan, Tongan and Fijian. This allows athletes to represent their home, heritage, and culture while performing at their best. Grip Code Customs gives you the opportunity to showcase what you love, both on the field and on the court, without compromising performance.
Our Slogan is ā€œPower in every step, pride in every stitch.ā€ 🧦

Hey there, we are re:mix! A student run business from Western Springs College.

We believe that Aotearoa is fostering an ultra-processed lunchbox culture, with parents unintentionally feeding their children carcinogens, synthetic additives and neurotoxic contaminants as ā€˜fuel’ on a daily basis. Furthermore, we are experiencing a scarcity of accessible traditional cultural ingredients in mainstream trends. We believe Tamariki in NZ deserve genuinely nutritious snacks, and parents shouldn’t have to compromise their time to achieve this. That’s why we created re:mix, an alternative to the ultra processed lunchbox culture here in Aotearoa.

Re:mix is a dry, nutritional brownie mix with a clean label, incorporating classic New Zealand ingredients. Filled with the goodness of NZ kumara, rich in antioxidants, chia and oats for fibre and protein, and coconut sugar as a more sustainable alternative to cane sugar, re:mix combines taste with nutrition.

Embrace is a student-led business created by three Year 13s at Glendowie College.

Like millions of women around the world, we have experienced the reality of living with period pain and have personally seen how it’s affected our peers. Existing options for period pain often feel clinical, bulky, and inconvenient, leaving many girls to continue through the day feeling uncomfortable because they believe there are no better alternatives.

This inspired us to create Embrace. Our product is a discreet, adhesive heat patch designed to ease period pain. They can be worn comfortably under clothing, are designed to fit the female anatomy, and provide up to 10 hours of targeted heat therapy. The patches are sold in boxes of five, providing the right amount for the average duration of one period.

Our purpose is to help young women ease their period pain, helping them remain focused in class, participate in sport, attend work, and continue their daily lives with greater comfort and confidence.
