Kia orana e te whānau,

Thanks to all 66 donors, Me He Manu Rere has officially hit its $10,000 target and closed successfully!

The team behind Me He Manu Rere are so deeply grateful for your generosity and belief in this kaupapa. Because of your support, we now have the opportunity to invest in creating a high-quality puppet of the Tūī within our protagonist's stomach which is the key visual heart of this film, and the very thing that carries so much of its emotional weight.

This film would not be possible without you. Every contribution, no matter the size, has helped bring Me He Manu Rere one step closer to being told exactly as it deserves to be.

Thank you for believing in this story, and for helping us honor it with the care it needs.

Ngā Mihi Nui,

The Me He Manu Rere Team
