LS Art Born in the United States, Auckland based artist Lydia Sewell, has been honing her skills in the visual arts for the past five years.

Prior to settling in New Zealand, Lydia toured the globe as a professional violinist, performing on cruise ships as well as orchestras throughout the US. Influenced by the vibrancy of cross-cultural customs and traditional dress, Lydia utilizes bold and flamboyant colors to highlight and reflect the strength, resilience, and beauty of women. Her mediums include acrylic, oil and oil pastels.
