The biggest pinball event in New Zealand is at my house in Pukekohe this weekend - Sat, Sun, and Monday. If you have been wanting to check out the pinball scene and see 100+ pinball machines in action, here’s your chance! You can get a ticket for a day no problems - just come for a bash.

Still a few tickets left for next Thursdays Super Secret SHPC pre-comp in Epsom!
This will be a higher WPPR event than usual, due to the expanded finals!

Reminder on the format - show up between 3-7pm and start your 14 qualifying games. TOP 16 finals start at 9pm.

Tickets only $20 - covers all games between 3pm and midnight. Cold drinks available on site!

The latest restoration. This Whirlwind had fire damage when I bought it.
Shes had:
- full cabinet rebuild with new cabinet bottom - all sanded back to bare wood and resprayed in 2k with new “spacies” decals
- new playfield (original is always my preference but the OG was damaged)
- all metalwork hand polished
- all mechanisms stripped and rebuilt
- new plastics
- new topper
- upgraded lighting

A bunch of work went into it! Hope you all enjoy playing it at The EPIC Southern Hemisphere Pinball Championships Weekend in October!

Unfortunately, this Thursdays event has been cancelled due to illness. The next Auckland event is at District28 in Pukekohe Sunday the 18th August, with around 100 pinball machines available to play! Details and tickets below:

Super Secreters! The next SSPC event will be on Thursday 11th July from 3pm. Come play the new Jaws pinball!
Here is a picture of the famous artist and advanced pinballer DARKUGH (aka Daryl Purdie shhh) being eaten alive by a shark in 1975. This inspired Spielberg to make the Jaws movie. Possibly. It’s on the internet. It must be true.

SUPER SECRETERS! Alas, no SSPC event for June, as we will be in the USA at the World Championships. Luckily you can get your fix at Brothers Beer in Mt Eden on the lovely GZ and FF pins! And there is a big Matchplay event at the RDarcade Pukekohe on Sunday 23rd June as well. 100 pinballs all on freeplay! Be there!
