A little look at Robyn's upcoming Pocket Exhibition.

The Observer Observing is a collection of quiet works exploring perception, solitude, and the inner landscape. Through faceless figures, shifting cloudscape, trees, animals and softened forms, the exhibition considers the act of witnessing, both the world around us and the self within it.

Opening Thursday 25th June, 5pm-7pm
182 Jervois Rd, Herne Bay

Known for intertwining the abstract and the figurative, Lizzie Beere expands the language of still life through loose, expressive botanicals and ghost-like vessels. Forms emerge and dissolve at once, balancing recognition with obscurity.

These are her “erupted florals” moments of bloom, transition, and decay held in suspension, where beauty lingers just beyond definition.

En Route by Ross Jones

This work captures a moment of pause just before movement begins. A 1935 JEP Jouets de Paris tin seaplane sits on the water, its clockwork mechanism wound and ready, suggesting action without showing it.

The bold red of the plane contrasts with the softer greens and yellows of the water, setting the tone of the piece. Lotus flowers and a single fish introduce a sense of stillness and ongoing life around it, reinforcing the idea that multiple journeys can exist at once.

In our latest journal post, we explore the role of art in Auckland workplaces and commercial interiors. From large-scale statement works and custom framing, through to thoughtful curation for offices, hospitality spaces and architectural projects.

At Frame Workshop & Gallery, we work closely with businesses, architects and interior designers to source, frame and install art that feels considered, enduring and connected to its environment.

Tomorrow is your last chance to experience Laurette’s beautiful sold-out exhibition in the gallery.

These works will soon head off to their new homes, making this the final opportunity to see the collection together in person.

Thank you to everyone who supported the show. We’ve loved sharing these paintings with you.

Pop in and say hello before the exhibition closes.

You can also view the full collection online and register your interest with us to join the waiting list for future releases.
