Matariki is just around the corner, and registrations for this popular event at St Heliers Community Centre is now open! I will be there offering lightning-fast UV face paints. These designs look bright/neon under regular light but glow inside our dedicated UV lit "glow room!" While this is a free community event, registration is essential as capacity is strictly limited. This weekend we covered events from Hallertau NZ in Riverhead and Kiwi Valley Farm Park in Henderson, to the very cool new Lilliputt Mini Golf space in Parnell, plus stops in Mt Eden and Glendowie. Massive credit to my amazing team; I definitely couldn’t be in five places at once! Thank you so much for trusting us with your special milestones.

My family also drove down to Hamilton for my niece 30th birthday at Hamilton City Gymnastics! There is zero photographic evidence of me doing gymnastics, but my daughter was 100% in her happy place!

It was a busy Mother’s Day weekend for me! While it wasn't exactly "chilled," it was definitely full of celebrations.

Saturday was a double-header: a 1st birthday in Howick, followed by a 4th birthday in St Heliers—where fairies and pink were (as always) the stars of the show. By Sunday, I’d switched gears into another creative mode by coordinating a special Mother’s Day morning tea for an awesome group of ladies. I was on baking and making duty—club sandwiches, cupcakes, gifts, craft and table set ups - but I had plenty of amazing young helpers to make the magic happen.

Happy Mother’s Day to all you incredible women. You are all pretty awesome and deserve to be celebrated!
