⭐Freedom Through Art: A Collaborative Mural-Making on Canvas⭐

Over 10 weeks, young artists explored what freedom means personally, socially, culturally, and imaginatively through the process of creating a mural together. Along the way, participants built technical art skills, teamwork, communication, and creative confidence.

The course was run by Sur-Collective members and culminated in a large-scale collaborative mural and a public sharing or exhibition event.

Please join us to celebrate the freedom and creativity of these incredible rangatahi from Mixit NZ!

Saturday 26th September 3-4:30 pm Opānuku Studio, Corban Estate Arts Centre, 2 Mt Lebanon Lane, Henderson, Tāmaki Makaurau.

We are thrilled to invite you to the launch of our short film — a window into everything we lived and felt during Weaving Interculturality.🎬🌿

A heartfelt thank you to Diana Albarran for opening this door for us — for the connection, the creativity, the conversations, and the culture that brought us all together. 🥰✨

The film documents intercultural exchanges among creatives from Aotearoa New Zealand,
Moana-nui-a-Kiwa, and Abya Yala (Mexico, Colombia, nd Chile), where craft-design-art, and mahi toi became catalysts for relational, embodied, and material

PLUSHIE GONE! Take a look at the other things 🤗

¡Hola creatives!

We’re very sad to let go our dear
💕PLUSHIE💕

Hoping a new creative, family, arts studio or even a kindy, would be keen to adopt it?? It is full of beans 🤪 and synthetic cotton, very comfy, brings joy into any space and it's great to snuggle with… additionally we have this foam mattress which might be good for a campervan and the funky circular shelf or any DIY project.

The plushie is about 2.5 meters long.

Please drop in the comments if you want to make it yours! 🐍 Pick up at Corban Estate Arts Centre, 2 Mt Lebanon Lane, Henderson, AKL.

¡Gracias!
