Modular on the Spot AK
Modular On The Spot AK is an Auckland outdoor modular synthesizer picnic. Originally founded in Los Angeles in 2015, the Modular on the Spot event has resonated with modular aficionados and has since spread, through local initiative, to cities across the the world.
The informal picnic setting combined with a focus on the modular synthesizers is intended to cultivate the exchange of ideas with those who share a common interest in the format, as well showcase the breadth of the instrument. At Modular on the Spot there are no set times, no headliners, no prescribed set lengths, and players of all skill levels are welcome.
