Good evening all!

Just a real quick tidy up from us, post Ashburton Street Sprints 🙂

Firstly congratulations to the Ashburton Car Club Inc for getting through another one! Year on year you keep doing it, and you all should be proud of the history and longevity of your Event.

Secondly, Thank you to all the fans who engaged on our social media. Your comments and sharing of posts etc is what helps the awareness for this event grow. We hope you enjoyed the updates and content we provided. We loved seeing the interaction and you guys cheering on your favourite drivers.

The Ashburton Street Sprints is a special one on the Calendar. Rich in history, with some very well known names who have won over the years. In 2026 your newly crowned Champion was a guy by the name of Hayden Paddon. And how cool is it to add that name to the list! Not only that, but Hayden now holds the track record as well. Well done to Gareth and Stefan and in fact the whole Top 10 who were all swinging fast times. It sure was entertaining.

Event Factor NZ couldn't be on the ground at Ashburton this year, so we managed it all from home in Rotorua. I really need to thank Kim Adams, Kaitlyn Adams and James Storey along with a few of my motor racing friends for their contribution sending videos and updates as soon as they could so that we could keep you all informed. I also would like to thank Nick Turner for the great job preparing the Drivers Profiles and would like to thank Bailey Chambers for his photography and the use of the photo's.

That is all from us for now. Enjoy the weekend and be safe out there!

Yet another great weekend at Ashburton Street Sprints!
All week I was worried about the weather, but Saturday turned out to be a stunner of a day.

Ashburton Street Sprints is by far one of my favourite events to go to and I can't wait to do this all over aging next year!
Next year I'll try to get to both days as one day isn't enough.

Here are a few of my favourite photos from Saturday.

Feel Free to comment and share for if you know the car or the person!

Is it too early to call out Sloan Cox Motorsport to take on the Ashburton Street Sprint in 2027?

Thoughts Hayden Paddon?
