A huge thank you to everyone who came along to our August Karaoke Night and supported the Sing It Forward initiative.

๐“๐ก๐š๐ง๐ค๐ฌ ๐ญ๐จ ๐ฒ๐จ๐ฎ๐ซ ๐ ๐ž๐ง๐ž๐ซ๐จ๐ฌ๐ข๐ญ๐ฒ, ๐ฒ๐จ๐ฎ ๐ซ๐š๐ข๐ฌ๐ž๐ $๐Ÿ”๐Ÿ๐Ÿ’ ๐ข๐ง ๐ค๐จ๐ก๐š ๐Ÿ๐จ๐ซ ๐‡๐จ๐ฌ๐ฉ๐ข๐œ๐ž ๐Œ๐ข๐ ๐‚๐š๐ง๐ญ๐ž๐ซ๐›๐ฎ๐ซ๐ฒ.

The Devon Tavern and Braided Rivers Community Trust then matched the koha with a $100 contribution each, bringing the total donation to an incredible $814.

We can't wait to introduce September's Sing It Forward recipient!

Some serious talent, some questionable dance moves, some cracking duetsโ€ฆ and a whole lot of fun!

Lisa certainly embraced Karaoke Night too, apparently the only way to get her to stop singing was to pay her!

And judging by the koha box, you lot were pretty generous.

In fact, it was our biggest Sing It Forward night yet! ๐Ÿงก

Weโ€™ll save the final total for another day, but a HUGE thank you to everyone who sang, laughed, donated and made it such a great night, and of course to DJ Sparkles for keeping the songs coming. ๐ŸŽถ

Each month, one of our Devon team members chooses a local charity, community group, school, or not-for-profit organisation that's close to their heart. Any koha received during Karaoke Night goes directly to that chosen cause. To help make an even bigger difference, The Devon Tavern and Braided Rivers Community Trust will match the koha raised, up to $200.

A huge thank you to everyone who came along to our July Karaoke Night and supported the Sing It Forward initiative.

Thanks to your generosity, you raised $350 in koha for Mid Canterbury Childrens Theatre. The Devon Tavern and Braided Rivers Community Trust then matched the koha with a $100 contribution each, bringing the total donation to an incredible $550. The funds will help source some amazing costumes for their upcoming show, in October.

We can't wait to introduce August's Sing It Forward recipient!
