All squares made - and that term is fairly loose 😆so now I'm joining them into strips. My first plan had been thicker black yarn and whip stitch to join them all, but there was none available when I was at the store. The only options in thick was superthick in 2 colours, or ridiculously thick - as in a tube of black fabric filled with dacron. So I went with cream superthick, as the charcoal grey wasn't enough of a contrast with all my blocks. New plan - thank You Lord - is to join them in the normal way, then stitch the superthick yarn over the joins, down each strip, then across. If there's any left, hopefully I can do a border. Good news was yarn was buy one, get one half-price :D
