Hurunui Arts' Showcase For four days in April the artists of the Hurunui gather to exhibit and sell their creative work. No cellotape.

Banners announce us on State Highway 1 at the Memorial library, Amberley. Categories are:
01 Painting/Drawing
02 Pottery/Ceramics
03 Sculpture
[Must be free standing and stable]
04 Fibre Art
05 Textiles
[Must be ready to hang complete with cords, rods etc.]
06 Photography
Mounted works must be ready to hang with secure attachments fixed 5cm down from the top of the work. For mounted (unglazed

) works, we recommend 3M Scotchpad Hang Tabs.
07 Woodwork
08 Paper Arts
09 Jewellery [Limit six pieces]
10 Other
11 Wearable Art
[Complete with any props required for display]

Dear art and craft people of the Hurunui entries are now open for our annual Arts' Showcase. Entry forms are in the local libraries if you haven't received one by email. Entries close 21 March. This is your opportunity to be celebrated. There's a category for every art piece but nothing that can't fit through the Amberley library doors please. Our guest artist is fibre artist Tamar Guser.
