Hurunui Arts' Showcase For four days in April the artists of the Hurunui gather to exhibit and sell their creative work. No cellotape.

Banners announce us on State Highway 1 at the Memorial library, Amberley. Categories are:
01 Painting/Drawing
02 Pottery/Ceramics
03 Sculpture
[Must be free standing and stable]
04 Fibre Art
05 Textiles
[Must be ready to hang complete with cords, rods etc.]
06 Photography
Mounted works must be ready to hang with secure attachments fixed 5cm down from the top of the work. For mounted (unglazed

) works, we recommend 3M Scotchpad Hang Tabs.

08 Paper Arts
09 Jewellery [Limit six pieces]
10 Other
11 Wearable Art
[Complete with any props required for display]

Arts' Showcase opens to the public on Friday morning 9am, May 1st at the Amberley library and continues until 3pm, Monday May 4th, when The People's Choice Award will be announced.

Our guest artist is Adrienne Pavelka, water colourist, who will have a number of paintings for sale.

There will be a wide range of art and craftwork to see, much for sale and a raffle of a work by Adrienne.

A gold coin donation would be appreciated.
