I’m pleased to have been accepted as a vendor on Fybe! is a new online marketplace that is an AI-free alternative to Etsy.
I’ve had a shop on Etsy selling cross stitch patterns since 2019, I have about 20 patterns available and I’ve made 110 sales, so I’m pretty small-fry. I’ve never been looking to earn a living from selling cross stitch patterns. I’m just stoked whenever anybody is interested enough to stitch one of my designs, getting a few dollars from it is secondary.
It can be disheartening to see the AI pattern mill shops on Etsy that have thousands of poorly designed patterns. There's so many talented cross stitch designers out there creating original and unique patterns that just get lost in the noise.
I’m looking forward to shopping and selling on a platform with real human art, made by real human people.
