Our LESUMMER School Holiday 🎨 All Ages | Immersive Art Experience

1:00pm – 4:00pm

For children who love to paint freely and experiment with different materials, our Immersive Art Experience offers a relaxed and open-ended creative environment.

Children can explore a variety of artistic mediums, including:

✏️ Graphite & Pencil Drawing
🖌️ Acrylic Painting
🌈 Creative Mixed Media
🖍️ Alcohol Markers
✨ Oil Pastels

There is no “right” way to make art here.

We encourage children to slow down, experiment, observe, make changes and develop their own ideas while creating artwork that is truly their own.

At LESUMMER, we hope children take away more than just a finished artwork.

We want them to experience the full creative process:

Explore materials → Learn new skills → Create freely → Complete their artwork → Build confidence

Whether your child already has an art background or is trying a particular medium for the first time, they can explore and create at their own pace in a supportive studio environment.

Our LESUMMER School Holiday Workshops offer a range of creative experiences for different ages, giving children the opportunity to explore drawing, painting, clay, collage, craft, design and digital illustration in a relaxed and inspiring studio environment. 🎨 Ages 5+ | Creative Art & Craft Workshops

9:00am – 12:00pm

Designed for young artists aged 5+, these workshops focus on hands-on making, creative exploration and discovering the possibilities of different materials.

Children will learn through the process of making and take home a unique artwork they have created themselves.

Monday – Paint Your Own Tote Bag
👜 Design and paint your very own one-of-a-kind tote bag.

Tuesday – Candle Holder Art
🕯️ Create a unique candle holder through shape, decoration and colour.

Wednesday – Clay Art
🏺 Get creative with clay and use your hands to shape and create your own three-dimensional artwork.

Thursday – Cut, Fold & Create
✂️ Cut, fold and assemble paper to create your very own handmade box.

Friday – Recycled Art: Paper Bowls
♻️ Turn recycled paper into art by creating a unique handmade paper bowl using paper pulp and simple sculptural techniques. 📍 LESUMMER Art Studio

9:00am – 12:00pm

Perfect for children aged 8+ who enjoy drawing and want to explore a range of different artistic mediums.

Monday – Portrait Drawing in Graphite
✏️ Explore portrait drawing through proportion, structure, light, shadow and detail, and create a finished graphite portrait.

Tuesday – Dunhuang Murals
🏺 Explore the colours, figures and decorative elements of the ancient Dunhuang murals, connecting traditional Chinese art with contemporary creative expression.

Wednesday – Clay Art
🏺 Get hands-on with clay through shaping, modelling and decorating, creating a unique three-dimensional artwork.

Thursday – Digital Illustration
💻 Explore digital drawing and illustration and create your own artwork using an iPad.

Friendly Reminder:
Students attending the Digital Illustration workshop must bring their own iPad and Apple Pencil, and have Procreate downloaded before the class.

Friday – Fabric Collage
🧵 Explore colour, texture and composition by creating an artwork using a variety of fabrics and materials.
