Recently, we celebrated an incredible 10 years of service from our wonderful Nurse Lyn. ❤️

For a decade, Lyn has been a reassuring and caring presence in our village, bringing not only her expertise and professionalism, but also genuine warmth, kindness, and compassion to everything she does.

She has been there for our residents through the everyday moments, the challenging times, and everything in between, always with a caring heart and a wealth of knowledge.

Thank you, Lyn, for 10 wonderful years of care, commitment, and kindness. We celebrate you and the many lives you’ve touched along the way! ❤️

We are so spoilt with Doreen’s delicious homemade marmalades! 🍋🍊 Our residents are treated to a wonderful choice of lime, grapefruit, and orange marmalades, all lovingly homemade by Doreen.

Perfect spread generously on toast or scones, or simply add a dollop to anything that needs a little extra citrus zing! Always a huge hit and sold out as fast as Doreen can make them!

This week, we went all out for a Country BBQ Feast. We served a menu packed with Southern flavour, including cornbread with honey butter, country pickle cups, smoky brisket sliders, BBQ chicken, and Southern mac & cheese. We certainly filled our boots!

Our residents never cease to amaze us with their enthusiasm and willingness to join in. All saddled up and dressed to impress, they made it another fantastic Settlers night filled with good food, great company, and plenty of fun!

🏎️ THE BLOKES SHED IN ACTION!

For the second year, Settlers residents Ian Langley and Richard Hucklesby have put their skills to good use, helping Mairangi Bay Scouts create their cars for the annual Pinewood Derby.

From wooden blocks to race-ready creations, it’s been a wonderful way to bring generations together, share skills and have plenty of fun along the way.

Congratulations to Emily, Darren and Mia, who are now heading to the Zone race in September! 🏁👏

What a wonderful turnout on Sunday for the North Shore Concert Band’s live performance. Our residents were treated to an afternoon of fantastic music from this incredibly talented group of musicians. The atmosphere was wonderful, and the music was superb. A huge thank you to the North Shore Concert Band for entertaining us so beautifully. We’re already looking forward to having you back!
