जय श्री चण्डेश्वरी अजिमा ।

While the main Chandeshwori Jatra is famous in Banepa, the local celebration in Bhaktapur follows similar legends with its own local flair. The Chandeshwori Jatra in Chasukhel, Bhaktapur, is a two-day festival beginning on Baisakh Purnima dedicated to the goddess Chasudyo. The celebration centers on a vibrant Khat Jatra, where a portable chariot carrying the deity is processed through historic neighborhoods like Tachupal and Lalachen.Accompanied by the rhythmic beats of Dhime drums and ritual sacrifices at the Chasukhel temple, the festival commemorates the victory of Chandeshwori over the demon Chandasur, serving as a deeply local community gathering for the residents of northeastern Bhaktapur.
