Today marks the 6th anniversary of the passing of our beloved founder, Late Purna Man Shakya, whose vision and dedication helped shape the future of Newa art.

At a time when few were willing to promote traditional Newa art, he recognized its immense cultural value and devoted his life to preserving, exhibiting, and uplifting its artists. His unwavering belief laid the foundation for Bodhisattva International—including the Purna Museum of Newa Art, Bodhisattva Foundation, Bodhisattva Gallery, and Bodhisattva Gift Shop—which continue to carry forward his mission today.

Beyond the arts, he always believed in giving back to the community, especially by supporting education and those in need. His generosity and compassion touched countless lives and remain an enduring part of his legacy.

In his loving memory, the Bodhisattva family donated NPR 400,005 to Hiranya Varna Mahavihar (The Golden Temple), the sacred monastery to which his family belongs, in support of its ongoing restoration and construction.

May this offering generate merit in his memory, and may his legacy of generosity, cultural preservation, community service, and compassion continue to inspire future generations.

Forever remembered. Forever inspiring.

We were delighted to welcome Mr. Yu Pencheng, Director of Political and Press, and Ms. Wu Yu, Attaché, Political and Press, from the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in Nepal, together with Ms. Sandhya Bajracharya, member of the Chinese Embassy Youth Pioneer Program, to our two ongoing exhibitions.
Their visit took them through two exhibitions showcasing the richness of Nepal's artistic heritage—from the intricate masterpieces featured in Small Wonders, Great Devotion: Sacred Treasures of the Kathmandu Valley at the Purna Museum of Newa Art to The Art of Babu Kaji Bajracharya at Bodhisattva Gallery - Jewels of Newar Arts, celebrating the extraordinary career of one of Nepal's most accomplished master bronze sculptors.
We are truly honored by their visit and grateful for their appreciation of Nepal's rich artistic, cultural, and spiritual heritage. Such exchanges strengthen the shared cultural ties between Nepal and China through the timeless language of art.

Don't miss this rare opportunity to experience the legacy of Master Babu Kaji Bajracharya.
