Since it has been long time I (Tseten Sherpa) have been the wobbling with art but as a hobby and in 2012, I met Sagar Magar (an artist and a teacher) though he is too young than me but he is more sharp and devoted person in arts and painting, We shared our thoughts and met several artist (eg. Yuwaraj Rizal, Himmat Nembang, Shanta Kumar Rai, many more within Jhapa and went to several exhibitions an
d workshop but we didn't find any new things rather that few messy chats rather that serious discussions on art. during the span of two years we duo didn't find any progress as well as our work area Kakarbhitta is not well known to all other than border and place of smugglers and drug addicts. So we both discussed to try bringing some change and purify the image of our place, planned to up bring the youngsters, inspire them to revoke with our creations. and added two more frens Binod Rajbanshy and Bishnu Limbu, started practicing on daily basis to improve ourselves. In between, we met an inspiring young artists of Nepal (Nb Gurung, Jyotee Prakash and Nagen Singh which added boost in our campaign) And Sagar and me(Tseten Sherpa) funded for preparing our workshop (Studio) additional physical, emotional and technical help from our frens Bishnu Limbu, Pinkey Shrestha and Binod Rajbansy. starting it with title of our Mothers first names Devika(Sagar's Mom) and Hingi Lamu (My Mom's name) which makes DeHi............ The Womb of Art... Lastly, The Sanskrit word dehī means "embodied." Although one is within this secular form, by his achievement of spiritual knowledge he can be liberal from the interference of the modes of surroundings, Like a free soul. Thanks to all...
