PTSD (Post-traumatic stress disorder) and mental health issue: Is it more threat than covid -19?
Social Distancing and Home Quarantine measure may restrict the possible infection but more than the invisible threat (Covid-19), severe threat of Mental Health Issue and PTSD is posing around the world.
Data shows an around 2.7 billion population is under some kind of Quarantine or lockdown. This may be the largest psychological experiment ever conducted. Experts and Studies shows the Quarantine or lockdown has created and will be creating more psychological impact and pose more threat than the invisible enemy (Covid-19). Yes, you heard it right. As it has already started affecting your mental health and this will be very serious in coming days too. Studies shows that people who are under lockdown or home quarantine are very likely to develop a wide range of symptoms of psychological stress and disorder, including low mood, insomnia, stress, anxiety, anger, irritability, emotional exhaustion, depression and post-traumatic stress symptoms. Most Common and importantly Insomnia, fatigue, Low Mood. World Leader (China) has already started huge effort to mitigate this mental health issue. Beside lockdown and quarantine, media is also affecting our mental conscience and emotions with fake rumors and news about corona virus. Of course the business of emotions I must say. Let's be prepared for the invisible enemy in the latter 2020.
