This Monday, 28th September we step away from our usual sounds and bring you an evening of Hindustani Classical Music — Mohanveena & Tabla Duet. Two musicians. Two traditions. One intimate evening of melody, rhythm and improvisation.

Amitesh Basu – Mohanveena
Amitesh Basu is a disciple of the renowned Mohanveena maestro Pt. Debashish Bhattacharya. He presents Indian Classical music on the Mohanveena, blending traditional Hindustani melody with his own expressive musical approach.

Sudip Chatterjee – Tabla
Sudip Chatterjee is a Tabla artist and disciple of Pt. Rudranarayan Kalyani of the Benares Gharana. He specializes in Hindustani Classical Tabla accompaniment and solo performance.
