Residency in progress — moments from the ongoing journey of our May 2026 AIAR resident artist, Ohr Marom Munk , at Artudio.

Through research, observation, movement across the city, and studio exploration, the residency continues to unfold as a space for experimentation, dialogue, and evolving artistic inquiry. Engaging with Kathmandu’s layered cultural and urban landscape, Munk’s process navigates memory, perception, and the relationship between emotional experience and digital media.

Resonance has now concluded at Artudio — Patan Wing.

Over the past days, the exhibition became a shared space for reflection, dialogue, sound, performance, and collective curiosity around the intersections of AI, spirituality, art, and the human relationship with nature.

We sincerely thank everyone who visited, participated in the artist talk, engaged with the performances and guided meditations, and contributed to the conversations that unfolded throughout the exhibition.

Special thanks to Caroline Stedman Mishra for bringing this immersive and experimental project to Kathmandu, and to all collaborators, supporters, and audiences who made Resonance possible.

Meet the Artist | May 2026 — AIAR

Artudio is pleased to welcome Ohr Marom Munk as our May 2026 resident artist at the Artudio International Artist Residency (AIAR).

A new media artist working across video, stills, video mapping, and installation, Munk’s practice explores the transformation of pain into perceptual and poetic forms. Positioned between analog and digital realities, his work navigates the tension between emotional depth and the binary logic of technology—creating spaces where images fracture and new meanings emerge.

We look forward to his time in Artudio, engaging with the city’s layered cultural landscape through research, experimentation, and exchange.
