CITY ARCHIVAL - JAIPUR - a place within mind -

Enthralling, historical Jaipur, Rajasthan’s capital, is the gateway to India’s most flamboyant state. The city’s colorful, chaotic streets ebb and flow with a heady brew of old and new. Careering buses dodge dawdling camels, leisurely cycle-rickshaws frustrate swarms of motorbikes, and everywhere buzzing autorickshaws watch for easy prey. In the midst of this mayhem, the splendorous of Jaipur’s majestic past are islands of relative calm evoking a different pace and another world.

One such initiative where Archarticle and Build India Foundation trying to study retrospectives of the city and the state. To start the dialogue, one should go back to its inception and here we are trying to focus on what made Jaipur the place it is today.

We bring you the eye from the late 18th and the early 19th century to really see what is beyond the conception of human progression and time.
