Arts Nepal I EST. 1989

Arts Nepal I EST. 1989 Handmade Paintings from Nepal Arts Nepal took its humble course 30 years ago. We are still here after all these years, in between the bustling streets of Thamel.

Founded by our late grandfather Prithivi Nath Khar and our father Manmohan Khar; Kashmiri Businessmen looking to put down roots in Nepal. It all began with their simple vision of holding ground as an eclectic store in the upcoming bazaar which was Thamel. Withstanding inflation, Maoist insurgency, the 2015 earthquake, and now the pandemic, one thing that remained unchanged was the need of sustaini

ng Thamel as a tourist hub and most importantly growing with the artists affiliated to our store. We are proud to have come a long way with the support of our artists who have shown loyalty for more than 28 years now. We are also adding more emerging artists to our team. Undoubtedly there is a strong emotional tie to Arts Nepal which we wish to carry along in the forthcoming years. Our vision is to understand your requirements and suggest the best fit for your art needs in order to help you make the correct purchase. For the past 3 decades, we had solely been operating as a brick-and-mortar business, following the pandemic, we are now online! Keeping the collective love for art in mind, we want to cater to a wide audience. With our website. We are taking our family gallery and our artists to a significant new horizon.
