कैद सकिएको चार महिनासम्म जेलमै राखिएका डिकबहादुरलाई रिहा गर्न सर्वोच्चको आदेश!
कैद अवधि पूरा भइसक्दा पनि चार महिनाभन्दा बढी समय जेलमा राखिएका डिकबहादुर दमाईलाई तत्काल थुनामुक्त गर्न सर्वोच्च अदालतले आदेश दिएको छ।
न्यायाधीश टेकप्रसाद ढुङ्गानाको एकल इजलासले अन्य कुनै कानुनी कारणले थुनामा राख्नुपर्ने अवस्था नभए दमाईलाई तत्काल रिहा गर्न सम्बन्धित कारागार कार्यालयका नाममा बन्दीप्रत्यक्षीकरणको आदेश जारी गरेको हो।

In a tragic incident in Kolkata, West Bengal, a deadly stampede broke out on Saturday night at the Chorbagan Durga Puja pandal after heavy downpours forced massive crowds into a narrow pathway. The sudden crush resulted in 19 fatalities and left 25 people injured, with five currently receiving treatment in intensive care units.

Following the disaster, local police arrested seven key organizers, including the puja committee's secretary and vice-president, booking them under charges of culpable homicide for severe mismanagement and failure to ensure crowd safety.

In response to the tragedy, the West Bengal state government announced INR 2.5 million in financial compensation alongside a guaranteed government job for one family member of each deceased victim. Additionally, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed deep grief and announced ex-gratia relief for the families of the victims and the injured.

काभ्रेको चिया पसलदेखि रुपन्देहीको डिङ्गानगरसम्म जुवातास खेलिरहेको आरोपमा प्रहरीले ११ जनालाई पक्राउ गरेको छ।
प्राप्त विवरणअनुसार काभ्रेको पनौती–५, ढलमलेस्थित मेघराज कार्कीको चिया पसलबाट कार्कीसहित चार जनालाई प्रहरीले नियन्त्रणमा लिएको हो। उनीहरूको साथबाट १९ हजार ३७५ रुपैयाँ र तीन बुक तास बरामद गरिएको छ।
त्यस्तै, रुपन्देहीको तिलोत्तमा–४, डिङ्गानगरस्थित सिद्धार्थ पथबाट तिलक वलीसहित सात जना पक्राउ परेका छन्। त्यहाँबाट ४३ हजार ४१० रुपैयाँ नगद र तीन बुक तास बरामद भएको जनाइएको छ।
दुवै घटनामा गरी जम्मा ६२ हजार ७८५ रुपैयाँ बरामद भएको छ। प्रहरीले थप अनुसन्धान जारी रहेको जनाएको छ।
