Ellen Winner one of the first students of Mohan Rai describes in her book - World Shaman - exciting and authentic the eventful life of her mentor, the founder of the Shamanistic Studies & Research Centre. Starting with his childhood in a shaman family in the mountains of Bhutan up to his escape from Bhutan as the personal bodyguard of the then Prime Minister. From his exciting time afterwards in Nepal to the emergence of the famous Shaman Institute.
