This picture was taken in 1990 by Eric Valli who made Himalaya movie in Dolpo which was even nominated in Oscar. Norbu was only 20 year old in the picture, sketching new painting with his father and oldest son.

This small painting, Horse Man (1994), was painted by Tenzin Norbu during his early transitional period from traditional work. It reflects his naïve style and emerging artistic individuality."

It was painted more than 20 years back by Tenzin Norbu,Dolpo was still isolated from road network.We can see the reaction of Dolpopas and animals when they see a car for the first time.Beautiful imagination.
