Pukar Casting is officially seeking lead performers for the upcoming short film, “Lanterns in the Night”.

WE ARE CASTING:
SITA (Female, 40–50): A resilient woman living in emotional suspension. She carries the weight of her missing son’s memory through quiet, deliberate acts of resistance.
SHYAM (Male, 45–55): A rugged, weathered farmer who masks his deep fear and unresolved grief through rigid routine and silence.
NON-ACTORS AND NEW FACES ARE HIGHLY ENCOURAGED TO APPLY.

Requirements
• Age 17 months to 24 months
• Open to boys and girls
• Nepali (Kirati, Janajati) Asian features preferred
• Cute, expressive, camera-friendly
• Able to walk, run, and jump

Shoot details
• Location: Mumbai
• Dates: 2nd week of May 2026

Open to Nepal and PAN India applicants.
