Post self-reflection and some good advices from Finnmark Flicker director 😎

Finnmark Flicker is born from an idea by curator Zhanna Guzenko to open new formats and gather people from across the borders in the High North. It is a week that can "shake you up". The best part of Finnmark Flicker is that it blends the local context with the global life we choose to be a part of.

Hesapia (film-concert)

Set in post-human landscapes, Eunjo Lee trilogy of films suggests the possibility of a new concept of existence, rooted both in myths and archetypes, and in speculative ideas about the future.

The music is created by composer and pianist Juliet Merchant. Her eclectic hybrid music approach of unconventional combinations of orchestral and electronic elements is a powerful contribution to the visual experience of any collaborative project

16-mm film screening: Wavelength (1966)

Legendary experimental film by Canadian artist Michael Snow that is widely considered a foundational masterpiece of avant-garde and structuralist cinema.

It is often described as a “diary of a room”, focusing on the act of seeing and the nature of the cinematic medium itself. Screening has been made in collaboration with Cinédoc Paris Films Coop and Rovaniemi Cinema Club
