Homage au pair – by De Utvalgte invites you into the blind spot of the welfare state 🌍✨
What does it really mean to “stand on equal footing” when one person cleans, cooks, and cares for children, while the other pays? With biting humor and unsettling intimacy, De Utvalgte explores the au pair arrangement in Norway – a system built on cultural exchange but often steeped in inequality and quiet exploitation.

🎬This hybrid of video installation and live performance combines four films with live action and music, creating a layered exploration of class, privilege, and the stories we’d rather look away from.
🏆 Awarded Gullstolen '24 for Best Norwegian Short Film at the Grimstad Kortfilmfestivalen / The Norwegian Short Film Festival
📅 Sept 19. & 20. - kl. 14 & kl. 17 at Kunsthall Trondheim

What if the audience wasn’t just watching, but part of the scene?
In aCORdo - by Alice Ripoll / Cia REC, Brazilian choreographer Alice Ripoll / Cia REC dismantles the familiar rules of theatre. Four performers weave between the audience, gently but powerfully reshaping space and relationships in the room.

🖤 Hierarchies blur, and what felt safe and distant becomes present and alive.
🌏 This internationally acclaimed piece has toured festivals across Rio de Janeiro, Brussels, Vienna, and Paris, sparking conversations wherever it lands.
