Benchmark Genetics Norway AS signed as a partner in the organization Klimapartnere on Thursday the 16th of January. As a partner, we are obliged to work for and support goals connected to Klimapartnere such as:
-Annual reporting on emissions of climate gasses and plans and actions to reduce these
-Implement climate steering and environmental certifications for own business
-Participate at partner events with representatives from top management
-Develop products and services that are contributing to reducing emissions

We are looking very much forward to getting started and we believe we have an enthusiastic and skilled team of employees eager to get on with the work!

Excellent presentations by Sergio Vela Avitúa and Rama Bangera during Aquaculture Europe 2019 in Berlin this week! Our sister company INVE had a well-designed stand with many visitors, also a meeting point cross divisions internally.

Akvaforsk Genetics Center AS and SalmoBreed AS merge to become Benchmark Genetics Norway AS.
The merged company has 36 employees, of which more than 20 hold a Ph.D. or Masters degree. All the employees concerned will remain in their positions in the merged entity.

The combined organisation will further strengthen the Benchmark’s offering to deliver continuous genetic improvements and support aquaculture producers to increase quality, yield, health and welfare.
