🎨 New Art Courses at Zonal - Cultural Center

Join our creative art classes where students learn everything from sketching and painting with different techniques and materials to sculpting and mixed media.

Lessons are taught by a professional artist with over 20 years of teaching experience, and are available in Norwegian, English, and Spanish.

Kids (6–12 years)
• 1 hour per week
• 1100 NOK per month

Teens (13–17 years) & Adults (18+)
• 1.5 hours per week
• 1500 NOK per month

✨The fees include equipment and materials
✨ Discount when booking 3 months
✨ Payment possible through Fritidskonto via Friskus for everyone under 18 who resides in Stavanger Kommune

Our courses include all materials, professional instruction, and culminate in a large public exhibition where students showcase their work in a real art setting.

This holiday season, we are raising funds to support families who have little or no support network in Norway. Many of the children and young people we work with have recently moved to the country, and their parents are doing their best while facing financial challenges. With your help, we hope to give these families a warm and joyful Christmas by providing gifts, gift cards, art supplies, music instruments, and free art and music lessons. Every contribution makes a difference and helps ensure that all children feel included and cared for during the holidays. 💙

Denne julen samler vi inn penger til familier som har lite eller ingen nettverk i Norge. Mange av barna og ungdommene vi jobber med er nye i landet, og foreldrene deres står i krevende situasjoner. Med deres hjelp ønsker vi å gi disse familiene en varm og fin julefeiring ved å kjøpe julegaver, gavekort, kunstutstyr, musikkinstrumenter og tilby gratis kunst- og musikktimer. Hver donasjon gjør en forskjell og bidrar til at alle barn får kjenne på juleglede og fellesskap. 💙

Pengene går til URBAN HANDS og deres arbeid.

This month we’re celebrating the birthday of one of our teachers and a beloved member of the SIMA/Urban Hands/BlackTeal Studios/KANVAS - Street Art and New Technologies Festival/Zonal - Cultural Center for Interdisciplinary Arts family!

We’re so happy to have Sindre Wathne Johnsen on the team and we’re excited and looking forward to seeing more of his growth and evolution as a professional touring artist!
