Make the invisible visible!

If you have a hidden disability, ask our crew by the main entrance, where you get your festival wristband, for a sunflower wristband or lanyard!

Høstsabbat is a safe space for everyone, no matter the disability, religion, gender, political views or other sources for differences.

The sunflower wristband and lanyard is a symbol for non-visible disabilities, and a small step we try to make to give everyone the best experience at Høstsabbat as possible.

This years art exhibition is off the charts!

Erik Alm is an illustrator and graphic designer from Aurskog, Norway. The most notable part of his work has been for his own band, Oslo based mushroom-rockers Steinsopp. As well as drawing fungal shenanigans for Steinsopp, Erik seeks to transmit a sense of adventure, solitude and wonder through drawing undiscovered or lost worlds, usually working with black ink on paper.
You might have seen his art on covers and merch for other bands in the Oslo stoner/doom/psych-scene such as Sunface, Taiga Woods and Tempelheks, as well as on the 2018 poster for swedish fuzz festival Krökbacken.

Two exhibition artists left, welcome Håkon Amundsen - Daisies In Space!

A self taught artist primarily working in pen and ink based in Oslo, Norway. Drawing re-rendered motifs of classic artwork spanning from the renaissance to more modern periods of art.

Inspired by science fiction, pop culture, music and of course countless artists my work orbit around the concept of a milking cow (Daisy) from the Norwegian fields of Vinstra. Daisy’s udder is by far the most important thing imaginable for the Alien races depicted in some of the drawings and is considered the holy grail, or the golden key for overcoming parasitic stress and anxiety that has been haunting the worlds abroad.

Artist number three to be part of the Høstsabbat exhibition!

Elisa Halvorsen Castillo (b. 1990) is a Chilean artist with Norwegian
ancestry. She is based in Oslo after completing a masters in the art
and craft program at The Oslo National Academy of the Arts. Working
with analog experimental techniques, Elisa explores the concept of
memory and its plasticity. Currently, her work focuses on combining
photography, drawing and self publishing, researching on how memories
and perception are affected by mental illness. For Høstsabbat, she is
working on an installation, combining sound and hand drawn animations.

Another day, another talented artist reveal for our exhibition!

Lars Kvernberg

In the damp soil between squiggly trees and heavy boulders, Lars Kvernberg was born under the sign of the Paint Brush. He soon began painting his way through life, with an attempt to make you smile, see the magic of nature, and most important of all: Make you chill out with the perfect record spinning.

Kvernbergs works has found their way to album covers by bands like Kryptograf, Tusmørke, Strange Horizon, Jordsjø and many more.

Let us introduce the first artist in the Høstsabbat exhibition!

MySceneSucks

I grew up on a big island off the coast of Arendal, down south. When others had MTV, I read Thrasher, RIP and random zines that I ordered from the classifieds. Thus, my love for still images and wide lenses were born.
Later we started some bands. And a small scene. And no one except us cared. We put on our own shows, released our own music and soon realised that we had to take our own photos. So I borrowed enough money to buy a cheap expensive camera and started to figure out how it worked. Still working on that.
My Scene Sucks is my contribution to the underground. Ok photos of awesome bands.
