testing … testing 🧪👽🧪

experimenting has become an essential part of my design process. whether playing with new materials, shapes and colors or simply by ways of seeing and thinking, i’m experimenting 🤓

here, glass is melted together with tiny strips of contrasting colors while letting the ends freely set themselves in shape… or more like it was my first time trying this and i lost control of the material 😳…

i found the translucent characteristic of glass reflective of our inner-selves. when we simply let go of control, we set ourselves freely in shape 🌬… unexpected magic can happen! ✨👩🏻‍🎨⚗️✨

experimenting has become an essential part of my design process. whether playing with new materials, shapes and colors or simply by ways of seeing, I’m experimenting 🤓

here, glass is melted together with tiny strips of contrasting colors while letting the ends freely set themselves in shape.

i find the translucent characteristic of glass reflective of our true-selves - when we simply see ourselves for who we are, we set ourselves freely in shape 🌬

this design was mostly unintentional, but for me, this is the beauty of fashion. it has the openness to create different paths of exploration and transformation. this is the first glass creation of hopefully many more! 👩🏻‍🎨✨⚗️
