iMPORTANT MUSEUM ACQUISITION We are delighted to announce that the National Museum of Art has acquired two important pieces by Kari Håkonsen from our current exhibition. Håkonsen is one of Norway’s leading glass artists and is represented in many important private and public collections.

Ingrid Aarvik Berge: Etterklang (2026) is on view in booth #80 at Enter art Fair in Copenhagen. Working with fragments of hand-dyed wool fabrics, Berge creates complex painterly compositions that interact with light, shadow and negative space. 77 x 77 cm. DM for enquiries.

In the exhibition Between the Clock and the Bed: CONTAINER, the archetypal vessel form takes centre stage. The vessel functions as a container - both literally and symbolically - for memories, experiences, and stories. Through different materials and forms of expression, it becomes a shared point of departure for three artistic practices that meet in dialogue.

Kari Håkonsen presents new works in kiln-cast glass, a technique that allows her to work with larger formats, intricate surfaces, and optical qualities. The works explore how personal experiences and objects from contemporary life can illuminate questions of identity and the forces that shape us.

Silje Solvi presents new tufted textile works developed through an exploration of dimensions, surfaces, and materiality. Collected everyday objects and objects of personal significance are incorporated into the works, creating new visual narratives about belonging, memories, and value.

Linda Lothe draws on experiences from a three-month residency in Jingdezhen, China, where she immersed herself in the tradition of blue-and-white porcelain. Her works explore porcelain’s history as a carrier of cultural exchange and global trade, while opening up new connections between East and West, tradition and innovation.

The exhibition opens on Thursday, 13 August, and runs until 12 September.
