Teater Exit A theatre workshop/studio where people with multicultural backgrounds meet and explore what theatre Grumberg, premiererd at Cafeteatret in May 2013.

Teater Exit was formed to create a space for theatre practitioners and enthusiasts with multicultural backgrounds to share their experiences and create new work. The workshop/studio began in 2012 as a pilot project in collaboration with Nordic Black Theatre. The group's first production, «Entanglements», loosely based on a play by J.C. In 2013/2014, we presented «Gasoline High», written in coopera

tion with the Macedonian writer Yasminka Markovska. The project was a collaboration between Exit, Nordic Black Theatre and Dramatikkens Hus. Since the autumn of 2015 the group has been working on a version of «Roberto Zucco» by Bernard-Marie Koltès. The group is led by Renata Aleksejunaite Christensen. Renata has many years of experience as an actor, director and project manager. During rehearsals we explore a range of acting techniques, and work with both voice and movement. "Everyday routines" is a key starting point for our work while improvisation forms a large part of the process. I 2012 ble dette gjennomført som et pilotprosjekt i samarbeid med Nordic Black Theatre som et tilbud til teaterinteresserte voksne med flerkulturell bakgrunn. Vi presenterte forestillingen «Innviklinger» fritt gjort etter J.C. Grumberg, med premiere mai 2013 på Cafeteatret. I 2013/2014 presenterte vi forestillingen «Gasoline High» som ble skrevet i samarbeid med den makedonske tekstforfatteren Yasminka Markovska. Produksjonen var et samarbeid mellom Exit, Nordic Black Theatre og Dramatikkens hus. Siden høst 2015 har gruppen jobbet med en versjon av «Roberto Zucco» av Bernard-Marie Koltès. Gruppen ledes av instruktør Renata Aleksejunaite Christensen. Renata er tidligere elev på Nordic Black Theatre og har mange års erfaring som skuespiller, teaterinstruktør og prosjektleder. Under øvingene utforsker vi forskjellige skuespillerteknikker, og jobber med stemme og bevegelse. «Hverdagslige rutiner» er et av utgangspunktene i vårt arbeid. Improvisasjon er en stor del av prosessen.

The project was a collaboration between Exit, Nordic Black Theatre and Dramatikkens Hus. On the autumn of 2015 the group was working on a version of «Roberto Zucco» by Bernard-Marie Koltès with the premiere on May 2016 at Cafeteater. In 2018 the group presented the work “Improvisations on A.Chekov: Cherry Orchard. Now the group colloborates with the Oslo Teatersenter in Oslo and is working on the project “Decomposed Theatre or Trashcan Human” by Matei Visniec with the support from the Norsk Kulturrådet aswell. The group is led by Renata Aleksejunaite Christensen. Renata has many years of experience as an actor, director and project manager. During rehearsals we explore a range of acting techniques, and work with both voice and movement.
