💬 DIGI-B-CUBE | PODCAST #03 - GalileoHub

🙌🔎 "“DIGI-B-CUBE funding allowed us to design and start to create a prototype”. Pasquale De Blasio and his team are on an ambitious mission to reduce the time of tissue microarray production workflow. The GalileoHub solution uses Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Deep-Learning (DL) algorithms to perform quantitative image analysis of histological tissue slides to select the areas with cancer cells, which can then be processed with the tissue microarrayer.

💡 Having received the DIGI-B-CUBE Customised Solution Innovation Voucher, GalileoHub is now prioritising the development of the solution, certifying their technology with the CE mark and accessing the North American market.

🙌🔎 "Our mission is to become the standard of diagnostics in early sepsis detection!" - this is, as Enrique Hernández Jiménez, PhD put the mission of SeptiBell, a project created by Loop Dx, together with their Dutch partner Raoul Jansen and Barcelona-based ColorSensing.

💡 After having received DIGI-B-CUBE funding, Loop Diagnostics and their partners are moving to an industrialisation phase and a seeding round. Their next big milestone for 2022 is to receive a CE mark certification to bring their innovation technology to the market start selling SeptiBell to 🏥 hospitals.

With their innovative solution, SeptiBell, the Barcelona-based startup Loop Diagnostics aims at tackling the issue of early sepsis diagnosis. Together with their Dutch partners RAOULJANSEN and also Barcelona-based ColorSensing, their have been working on this ambitious goal.

💡 You are certainly familiar with Sophia E. Shanko, PhD, the founder of ShanX Medtech BV and one of the DIGI-B-CUBE beneficiaries we had the pleasure of seeing again at the 2022 Health Valley Event in Nijmegen.

💬 We had the chance to talk to Sophia about her innovation and her ambition to help diagnosing infections more accurately and subsequently determining an effective antibiotic therapy - this is a very powerful one, that relates to Sophia's work.

🙏🏻 We also thank Sophia for her words of appreciation about DIGI-B-CUBE, saying that the project "did not just provide funding and knowledge" - but also tailored advice for her patent strategy, value creation and other European grants. We look forward to the next developments of ShanX Medtech BV!
