Today, we were lucky enough to welcome Jon-Ivar Nygård, Norway’s Minister of Transport, to our Lysaker (Oslo) office. Thank you for taking the time, and for providing us the opportunity to showcase what we do within the Transportation industry.

What we deliver in this segment (tunnel cameras, networking equipment, and software) is mostly out of sight. With that it mind, such an occasion feels a little bit extra special as we get to promote our skilled Transportation team – and the industry overall – and their important contribution towards making our infrastructure as good and safe as possible.

Thank you as well to ITS Norway, Aktuell Sikkerhet, Byggeindustrien and Teknisk Ukeblad for taking part. And not least, Gøran and Nicola for treating us to your culinary tour de force.

Today, we’re present at the very first edition of MaritimeWorld (arranged by ComputerWorld) in Haugesund, Norway.

MaritimeWorld is a new meeting ground for industry players within marine tech and IT. The choice of location is very much intentional as the Haugalandet region is one of the hotspots for the growing marine IT industry. For us, it feels important and fitting to take part as Haugesund is home to our HQ, biggest production facility, and the majority of our employees.

Earlier this week, we celebrated a major milestone: the opening of our new facility in Aksdal!

This expansion means a lot to us. For several years now, we have been fortunate enough to see a high and increasing demand for our products. Building number two adds important production capacity and sets Hatteland Technology up for the future.

Thank you to everyone who took part in the celebration: local media for their coverage, the construction partner Tysvær Næringspark AS / John Gilbert Helgeland, Sebby Mikkelsen for his stunning performance, and Golfparken Catering og Selskapslokaler for the delicious food.
