Den ideelle foreningen Kunstfelt Stålaker ble etablert for å synliggjøre kunstaktiviteter på stedet og knytte sammen områdene skulptur, geologi og grafikk.

KFS ønsker å invitere andre kunstnere, institusjoner og kunstinteresserte til å samarbeide.

Vi feiret Symposium Norge 2026 den 01. august 2026 med en skulpturutstilling, og dermed ble symposiet avsluttet etter fem uker sammen med våre internasjonale skulptørkolleger. Det var en tid full av inspirasjon, opplevelser, kreativitet og kulturutveksling. Vi kunstnere fra Kunstfelt Stålaker vil savne tiden med gjestene våre sterkt – men de etterlot oss skulpturene sine i Skulpturpark Stålaker, og vi er glade for å kunne presentere dem i denne vakre utstillingen!😀

Vi var henrykte over det store antallet besøkende til skulpturutstillingen for det 22. internasjonale Larvikitt-skulptursymposiet. Symposium Norge 2026 ble initiert og organisert av vår kunstforening Kunstfelt Stålaker og generøs støttet av Larvikitt-produsenten Lundhs AS og Vestfold Fylkeskommune.

The open Fridays at the Stålaker quarry were a great opportunity for the sculptors to talk to all the different visitors about their sculptures - and for us at Kunstfelt Stålaker to make new contacts and talk about the Symposium Norge event.

Symposium Norge 2026:
- sculptor Martin Kuhn, Germany

My sculptures have evolved over the years. My fascination with stone began with sculpture projects in nature. This is how my life came to be centered around a Larvikitt quarry in Larvik, where I find and use large stones that reflect my vision. Function is important to me, as are visibility and the need to mark places with sculpture. Stone is a challenge and always presents a resistance that I find great joy in overcoming with my physical and technical abilities. (Martin Kuhn, 2026)
