Day 3 summary! And with that The Winter of Soul festival 2026 is done! 🧡

Thank you to all of our performers, artists, workshop/seminar leaders, vendors and, of course, thank you to all of our wonderful volunteers! Winter of soul is a very human-sized project, built with a lot of love from a very small (but mighty!) team. Thanks everyone for offering your energy, time and skills — and for wanting to help bring our vision into reality! We are genuinely so grateful and we hope you all enjoyed what the festival had to offer! 🧡

And a special thanks to for being the best festival director! Thank you for all your hard work and creating this amazing community!🌺

🔥 Winter of Soul – Festival Kitchen Nyam Menu

When the winter cold sets in, we’re bringing the warmth. This year at Winter of Soul, our festival kitchen is all about comforting, flavourful dishes inspired by Jamaican traditions – made to warm you up from the inside out.

Whether you’re stopping by for something hearty or just a warm bite between shows, we’ve got you covered.

Come hungry. Leave warm.

Soul Market
As part of the Winter of Soul Festival, the Soul Market brings together artists, makers, authors, and brands whose work reflects care, craftsmanship, identity, and community.

Dora’s Crochet Collection features handcrafted crocheted products that blend sustainability and tradition. Each bag and basket represents renewal, care, and a tribute to the traditions and stories that live within us all.

Irene Kinunda Afriyie is an author, speaker, and socially engaged voice. She debuted in 2023 with the book Jeg er fordi du er – fortellinger om mitt Norge, which received wide attention for its personal and thought-provoking reflections on belonging, identity, and community. During the festival, Irene will be present at her stand, where she sells and signs books and welcomes conversations with the audience.

NURU is a beauty and empowerment brand celebrating curly and afro hair through carefully selected haircare products, available through their website, www.nuru.no. At the Winter of Soul Festival, NURU invites visitors to discover products made for their texture, identity, and confidence—because hair tells a story, and it deserves to be celebrated.

Oriaku Studio is an Oslo-based jewelry brand that fuses African craftsmanship with Scandinavian minimalism. Founded by Celia, the brand is driven by a desire to elevate African craftsmanship into the luxury conversation and to redefine true wealth—time, culture, and connection. Each piece is created for the modern woman who values quality, history, and identity.

SheaCompassion offers professionally made natural hair and body products using organic, raw, and fair-trade ingredients. The brand is a tribute to the founder’s grandmother, who traditionally made and used shea butter for both hair and body. What began as a personal practice in 2009, later shared with family and friends, has grown into a long-term project now shared with a wider community.
