My art’s mission is to inspire and educate people to create their own sustainable art. Art can have many missions. It usually has a mission of touching people's feelings in some way. Art can provoke, make us teary or laugh, or it can engage and motivate us to take action. My art's mission is the last one. I wish my art to be applied in everyday use and motivate people to take action for the environment. I aim to inspire and educate so people can create their own art objects from sustainable materials. I believe that each of us can make a difference by reducing our consumption of stuff, reusing what we already have, and recycling what we do not need. Through my art, I explore how applying more beauty to everyday objects can contribute to sustainable living. When people create what they use, they might appreciate more and preserve their art objects and eventually reuse the materials and create something new.
