- is Midt-Troms Museum, a regional museum covering 9 municipaities in the county of Troms in Norway. PARTNERS
- are the following museums:
Ájtte, Swedish Mountain and Sámi Museum in Jokkmokk in the county of Norrbotten in Sweden. Arkhangelsk Museum
of Regional Lore in the county of Arkhangelsk in Russia. OVERALL OBJECTIVE
To develop creative arenas for living handicraft traditions so that past knowledge re-enters the communities and helps individuals in communities build identity and prosperity. SPECIFIC OBJECTIVE
To recover, reserve, transfer and document traditional handicraft skills, thereby ensuring a viable future for practice-led knowledge and traditions. STRATEGIES
• Exchange and cooperation on both individual and institutional levels
• Museum and museum-associated cultural festivals/markets will function as settings
• Development of traditional skills in terms of education, interpretation and sustainable economy

Troms: Living museums – artisans at work at open-air museums
Norrbotten: Sámi building traditions – with building traditions from the east
Arkhangelsk: Traditional skills in todays context – old techniques – new design
